1. The Nature of Vital Voyager

Vital Voyager is an educational publication operated by Vital Voyager LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company. The Platform publishes travel health and safety information — country dossiers, articles, kit recommendations, and related content — for the general public. Vital Voyager is not a medical service, a telemedicine service, a clinic, a hospital, or any other provider of health care. Vital Voyager LLC does not deliver clinical services in any state or country.

2. About the Founder

Vital Voyager was founded by Robert R. Page, MD, who has 25+ years of Emergency Medicine practice, 40+ countries of personal travel, and medical mission experience in Honduras and Cambodia. Dr. Page is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee and Alabama. Dr. Page’s role at Vital Voyager is editorial — directing the publication of educational content — and not clinical. Dr. Page does not provide clinical care, diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing services to users of the Platform.

Other physician and healthcare contributors may write or review content for the Platform from time to time. The same rule applies to all contributors: their role at Vital Voyager is editorial, not clinical.

3. No Physician-Patient Relationship

Your access to or use of the Platform does not create a physician-patient relationship between you (or any other person on whose behalf you might access or use the platform, such as a spouse, child, or co-worker) and any of Dr. Page, any other physician or healthcare contributor, Vital Voyager LLC, or any of their respective owners, employees, contractors, or agents.

Specifically, the following do not create a physician-patient relationship:

• Reading content published on the Platform, including country dossiers, articles, kit recommendations, checklists, or any other published material.
• Communicating with Vital Voyager LLC, including by email, contact form, customer support, or any other means.
• Purchasing a kit, a membership, or any other product from Vital Voyager.
• Applying for or receiving a Mission Scholarship discount.
• Subscribing to the Vital Voyager newsletter.
• Following links to third parties mentioned on the Platform (such as IMG iTravelInsured Choice or Global Rescue).

Vital Voyager does not diagnose, treat, prescribe for, or provide clinical care to you or to any other user. Vital Voyager does not maintain medical records. Vital Voyager does not bill insurance and does not accept third-party payment for clinical services because no clinical services are provided.

4. Educational, Not Medical Advice

Content published on the Platform is general educational information about traveler health and safety. It is not individualized medical advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare provider who knows your personal medical history.

You agree that you will not make medical decisions based solely on Vital Voyager content. Specifically, you will discuss with your own licensed healthcare provider:

• Your planned travel destinations and itinerary.
• Recommended and required vaccinations for those destinations, with reference to your personal vaccination history and any contraindications.
• Prescription medications you may need for travel (including antimalarials, antibiotics for traveler’s diarrhea, altitude medications, and any chronic-condition medications).
• Personal health risks, chronic conditions, allergies, and drug interactions that may affect your travel choices.
• Recommended pre-travel testing or screening, if any.

For higher-risk destinations, you will also consult a travel medicine specialist. The CDC maintains a Travelers’ Health website at cdc.gov/travel and the U.S. Department of State publishes country-specific travel advisories at travel.state.gov; you will independently review these resources immediately before any departure to ensure you have the latest information from these resources available for your destination(s).

5. No Treatment, No Prescribing

Vital Voyager does not provide treatment for any condition. Vital Voyager does not prescribe medications. Country dossiers and kit-recommendation content describe categories of medications and supplies that may be useful for travelers; these are general educational descriptions, not prescriptions and not recommendations of specific brands or dosages for any individual user.

Kits sold by Vital Voyager LLC contain over-the-counter medications, first-aid supplies, and travel-health items. Kits do not contain prescription medications. You are responsible for obtaining any prescription medications you may need from your own licensed healthcare provider.

6. No Emergency Services

Vital Voyager does not provide emergency medical services, urgent care, after-hours support, or emergency response of any kind. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (in the United States) or your local emergency number, or seek immediate care from a healthcare professional. Do not rely on the Platform for emergency information.

Travel rescue and medical evacuation services are provided by independent third-party companies. If you need such services, you must obtain a membership or policy directly from the provider. Vital Voyager has a commercial relationship with Global Rescue but is not Global Rescue’s agent and does not coordinate, deliver, or guarantee the services Global Rescue provides.

7. AI-Generated Content and Physician Review

Country dossiers and some other content on the Platform are generated using artificial intelligence with live search of public-health and government sources, and are reviewed by a physician before publication. The government and public-health sources relied upon by VitalVoyager may be incomplete, outdated, and/or contain other errors or omissions. Likewise, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, fabricated citations, or outdated information despite this review process. These issues may not be detected or corrected despite the physician review process. You agree that you will not rely solely on Vital Voyager content for any decision that materially affects your health or safety, and that you will independently verify any information from Vital Voyager that you propose to rely on before traveling.

AI is used to generate published educational content. AI is not used to diagnose, treat, advise, or otherwise process information about you as an individual user.

8. State-Specific Notices

8.1 California.

Vital Voyager is not engaged in the practice of medicine in California. Vital Voyager does not provide telehealth or any other form of healthcare delivery to California residents. Dr. Page is not licensed to practice medicine in California, and Vital Voyager does not hold itself out as offering medical services to California residents. The Medical Board of California regulates the practice of medicine in California; Vital Voyager’s educational publications are not a substitute for consultation with a California-licensed physician.

8.2 Missouri.

Vital Voyager does not perform a medical interview or examination of any individual user. Vital Voyager’s collection of self-reported travel or health information — if any — does not constitute a medical interview within the meaning of Mo. Rev. Stat. § 191.1146. Vital Voyager does not establish a physician-patient relationship through any questionnaire, application, or online communication.

8.3 Tennessee and Alabama.

Vital Voyager LLC is organized in Tennessee, and Dr. Page is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee and Alabama. Even in Tennessee and Alabama, where the founder holds active licensure, Vital Voyager is not a medical service. The Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners and the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners regulate the practice of medicine in their respective states; Vital Voyager’s educational publications are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed physician and are not delivered as a clinical service in either state.

8.4 Texas.

Vital Voyager is not engaged in the practice of medicine in Texas. Vital Voyager does not provide telemedicine services to Texas residents within the meaning of Tex. Occ. Code Ch. 111 or Texas Medical Board Rule 174. Dr. Page is not licensed to practice medicine in Texas, and Vital Voyager does not establish a practitioner-patient relationship with Texas residents under Tex. Occ. Code § 562.056.

8.5 All other states.

In every state of the United States, Vital Voyager is an educational publication, not a medical service. Vital Voyager does not hold itself out as a provider of medical services in any state. The practice of medicine is regulated by individual state medical boards. You should consult a physician licensed in the state where you are physically located for any clinical question.

8.6 International users.

Vital Voyager is operated from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that Vital Voyager is not regulated as a medical provider in your country and is not a substitute for consultation with a physician licensed in your country. The practice of medicine is regulated by national and local authorities; you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

9. Information Accuracy and Currency

Travel health and safety conditions change rapidly. Disease outbreaks, civil unrest, vaccine entry requirements, and government advisories can shift between when content is published and when you travel. Vital Voyager updates its country dossiers and articles on a regular cadence, but we cannot guarantee that any specific piece of content reflects current conditions at the moment you read it. You are responsible for independently verifying current conditions with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov/travel), the U.S. Department of State (travel.state.gov), and the World Health Organization (who.int) before any departure.

10. Affiliate Partners Are Independent

Vital Voyager has commercial relationships with independent third-party providers, currently IMG iTravelInsured Choice (administered through Impact.com) for travel insurance and Global Rescue for travel rescue and medical evacuation services. We may earn a commission if you purchase goods or services from such independent third-parties through our links on our Platform. We use these products on our own travel because we believe in them, and our recommendations are based on that experience — not on the commission.

These third-party products are not provided by Vital Voyager LLC. The terms of any policy or membership you obtain from the applicable independent third-party are governed by that third-party’s own agreement, not by Vital Voyager’s Terms of Service or this Medical Disclaimer. Vital Voyager is not the agent of any such independent third-party and is not responsible for the conduct, performance, or non-performance of any such independent third-party.

11. Limitation of Liability

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk. Vital Voyager LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or expense arising from or related to your use of the Platform, your reliance on content published on the Platform, your purchase or use of any product, or your travel decisions. The full limitation-of-liability provisions are set forth in our Terms of Service, which you accepted before accessing the Platform.

12. How to Report a Concern

If you have a concern about content published on the Platform — for example, a factual error or an outdated entry — you may report it to us at legal@vitalvoyagertravel.com. We review reports and make corrections where warranted, but we do not provide medical opinions or clinical responses through this channel. If you believe content has caused or contributed to a personal injury, you may also consider contacting an attorney, your state attorney general, and the medical board of any state in which you believe a licensee has acted improperly. Filing such a complaint is your right and is not waived by these Terms.
