Security — Anglophone Crisis + Multi-Region Terrorism
NW/SW (Level 4): Anglophone separatist conflict since 2016; kidnapping of foreign nationals including missionaries; IEDs; massacres; ghost-city shutdowns; humanitarian crisis. Far North (Level 4): Boko Haram/ISIS-WA; suicide bombings; kidnapping. East/Adamawa near CAR (Level 4): criminal gangs; spillover.

Viral Hemorrhagic Fever (Mpox and others)
Mpox (monkeypox) endemic zone — clade II; rodent/primate reservoirs in equatorial forest. Avoid contact with rodents and non-human primates. Ebola: not confirmed in Cameroon but borders DRC and CAR where outbreaks occur. Avoid bushmeat entirely.
